Covers partially detached. ¶ Contains 136 pages, of which 70 bear inked autograph inscriptions, some lengthy, three with inked drawings, one with a mounted lithograph, all but one dated 1875-80, most signed from Bridgehampton, Sayville, Peconic, Patchogue, Amityville, Rockville Centre or Riverhead, Long Island. Apparently collected by Gilbert Smith, a student at the Bridgehampton Literary & Commercial Institute. Some inscriptions are faded. Names include Geo W. Clock, Sylvester W.
