Offset printed, side stapled paper wraps pamphlets, #43 was badly mangled by the post office and is missing some text. Others, Good-VG, expected mailing labels, occasional circled items. 24 pages each, about 175 trade catalogs described in each, mostly 1890-1940, and mostly from American firms, and some related ephemera are described, categorized and priced in each. Not illustrated. It is possible that some or all of the lacking issues were never offered. This set, describing and pricing about 32,000 items, would be a good start on a post-Romaine trade catalog bibliography. After Schneringer dissolved his business in 2005/6, the remaining 6,100 trade catalogs in his inventory were purchased for the collection of Ohio State University.
