Hardback , no dustjacket. ¶ The life & work of Giusto de' Menabuoi [ 1320 - 1391 ], the Italian painter of the early Renaissance. Probably a pupil of Giotto, de' Menabuoi was notable for his use of bright colour and became a painter at the court of Da Carrara, where he pursued his own archaic style & is remembered for his frescos in the Church of the Eremitani, the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua and most notably at the Baptistery of the Padua Duomo.
