Prolific and popular writer in his time, Paul Gallico (New York 1897- Antibes 1976) is now best remembered as the author of the Snow Goose and the Poseidon Adventure. Illustrator David Knight (1923-1982) noted for his linear pen and ink work worked both as a book and magazine illustrator and also as an architectural draughtsman.
