Collection of stories adapted from the French with poems by Frederic Condé Williams (author of 'Journalistic Jumbles or Trippings in Type'). F. Condé Williams, a vicar's son from Sheffield, made a career in journalism and law. He later became a judge in the Colonial service (Mauritius and Jamaica). Hardback.
