Later half green calf, spine gilt with four raised bands and red title label, speckled edges, extremities rubbed. Bookplate. Cunningham was a surgeon in the Royal Navy and spent four years in New South Wales. His work is considered to be one of the best decriptions of the life and manners in the colony at this time. This edition is enlarged and includes a map not found in the first edition. Ferguson 1110. Kress C. 1869.
