Contemporary green cloth with painted colour illustration on upper cover, pretty floral end papers. Inscription dated 1958 on free front end paper. A fictional "Hindu" tale written by Francis William Bail, a British writer and an expert in Sanskrit literature. He wrote fantasy stories that he claimed were translated from ancient Sanskrit tales, but eventually it turned out that he had written the fairy tales himself.
