First edition of this delightful work containing textile patterns inspired by traditional royal court kimono fabrics. The designs are printed in rich and mellow colours, some with elements of gold and silver. This kind of appealing design book, zuan-ch›, was created by the publishers in collaboration with inventive artists intended to be appreciated for its own sake, as much as for any practical role. A few minor tears at fold and occasionally some light stain but overall a fine copy.
