Contemp. half calf over marbled boards (rebacked with orig. gilt spine laid-down), marbled edges and endleaves. Light wear at extremities, mild foxing at outermost leaves, 1 leaf with 3/4-inch marginal tear. Very good copy with generally fine and fresh, wide-margined text, handsomely bound. ¶ Fourth, and best edition. This volume reprints (mostly) satirical verse originally published in the journal founded by George Canning (1770-1827).
