Part of the original manuscript diary is on line - in Dutch. This is an English translation published privately by her hisband and cghildren after her death, with an introduction and extensive appendices. Includes her narrative, jokes and sketches. She was a member of the Dutch resistance, though the diary contains none of this - she was once arrested and escaped by jumping off a train. Her family hid British pilots and Jews to protect them from the Germans. Unpaginated c. 300+p. Illuistrations, photos maps. The diary is something of a pot-pourri of poems, thoughts and derogatory comments about the Natzis. See scans for a selection of the content. The lower edge of the first few pages are very lightly damp stained, otherwise VG+. No marks or sigantures apart fronm a gift inscripion from her husband dated 2003 opposite the title page.
