Description: Lotos Amateur Dramatic Club, 1887. Folded Card. Folded card with Egyptian motif on the front cover introducing the LOTOS Amateur Dramatic Clubs Performances at the Lyric Hall Ealing on Jan 19th 1887. Performances of Uncle at 8pm followed by the well known farce Chiselling with cast lists etc. A concert hall in the Broadway adjoining an older building was opened in 1881. Known as the Lyric Hall by 1883, it was replaced in 1899 by the Lyric Restaurant and the New or Ealing Theatre, later called the Ealing Hippodrome, Little Titch, above, appeared there, then a cinema (Palladium), and was demolished in 1958. In VG condition unmarked but for a 10 mm tear at the free edge. Now at W5 2 NR Ealing Broadway. Uncommon. See scans . Near Very Good
