A striking Victorian watercolour of the Engine House (once used as a Salmon curing station - but now demolished) at the western end of the Caledonain Canal which bisects the Highlands of Scotland. A snow capped Ben Nevis (the highest mountan in the UK) in the background. Aonach Mor, Carn mor Dearg and Stob Ban also depicted. The artist H. Bacon's signature bottom left. Two fishing smacks at the canal entrance. In a glazed gilt frame measuring 28 1/2 x 18 (72x46cm); picture size 21 x 10 (54x25cms). Postage at cost. See scans . Very Good
