They extend over 83 acres and comprise an exceedingly comfortable Family Mansion standing in the midst of well-matured grounds, and known as Broxholme. It is built of brick with slated roof, and contains three reception rooms, six principal bedrooms, bath room, two servant bedrooms. and etc .for Sale by Auction at the Elephant Hotel Doncaster on Tuesday 24th September 1895 at two for three o'clock to the minute. 13 pages describing 16 Lots including Broxholme and Strawberry Island . A large coloured map measures 38x 25 fom the Town of Doncaster to the south in which is the mansion of Broxholme bounded by Thorne Road, Broxholme Lane, Kings Road and Highfield Road. The lands to the north are divided by the River Don with several railways intersecting. The Prospectus is complete but the paper wrappers are detached, ragged and torn.
