Soft Cover. 72p card covered book being an attack/defence? directed at Ayr Town Council by the Author detailing the circumstances around the resiting of Alexanders exrtensive collection once exhibited in Belleisle Mansion Ayr, where it occupied eight rooms. The collection ws removed, much against his will on the orders of the Burgh Surveyer of Ayr Town Council. Here it was apparent;y haphazardly displayed. There are references to previous Alexanders, many letters in support of the collecion, a full inventory of the collection - with sections on Geology, Botany, Zooology, Archaeology, geography and history - including a significant section on the Great War. Alexander writes in longhand on the foretitle - as he did in many copies of his book Tramps across Watersheds of which much mention is made, including a list of persons who bought the book.
