Commoners matches from 1825 to 1844. There were various editions of this book published between 1838 and 1851 with updated scores, all of which retained the title-page dated 1838. The last score in this volume is in 1844 betwem Winchester and Eton. Previous owners signature F.Barchard July 15th 1845 on front pastedown and a more recent owners mark at the top of the fep. Book clean and tight though one gathering displaced. Title label on front board. F.Barchard played for Winchester from 1843 to at least 1844. He was the brother of E.Barchard, a bowler who decimated the Eton XI in 1844. . Very Good
