Complete with 14 engraved plates, some folding. Inscr 'Eliza Smith', some light foxing, full polished contemporary calf, very neatly rebacked in matching calf, gilt bands. VG nice copy. George Adams (ca 1709-1773) was one of the most famous English microscope and globe makers of the mid-eighteenth century. Very Good.
