Green. McQuarie was originally from Santa Fe, NM, and has been involved in Littleton's history since 1969 when he was appointed the first director of the Littleton Historical Museum. He was the Curator Education for the Colorado Historical Society and Ara[ajpe Community College. He served as historical council member lecturer on the history of Colorado and the American West at Regis College and American Association by the state and local History and the American Association of Museums. Buchholtz has had a long interest in national parks having worked in and written about them since 1963. He is Director of the Rocky Mountain Nature Association and taught American History and the history of the American West. He is the author of two books about national parks including Man in Glacier (1976) and Rocky Mountain National Park: a History (1983).
