No edition stated, but presumed first edition (hardback). 8vo (24cm by 17cm), iv, 188pp. 25 (of 26) steel-engraved plates (lacks the plate at page 41). Original blue cloth, gilt titling and design to the spine, gilt design to the front board, all edges gilt. Boards rubbed and dusty, corners of boards bumped, foxing to the preliminary pages and the margins of the plates; overall, this book is in good condition. Undated; JISC suggests a date of 1845.
