Volume 1 has a brown calf spine with gilt titling and marbled paper-covered boards; volume 2 has a library binding of red morocco spine, stout grey card boards, blue morocco corners, gilt titling to spine. This set was formerly in Coventry City Library, with usual marks and stamps. There is some foxing of the contents, but overall this is a good plus set. Volume 1 covers temporibus regum Hen III, Ed I & Ed II; volume 2 covers tempore regis Edwardi III.
