Description: Buffalo: Phinney & co, 1853. First edition (hardback). 12mo (20cm by 13cm), 337pp. Coloured frontispiece and extra title, but lacks the two b&w plates. Original decorated green cloth, gilt titling and design to the front board and the spine. The spine is sunned, the binding is shaken (with a couple of pages a little loose), the front free endpaper is pasted down, and there is some light scattered foxing of the contents. Overall, this copy is in fair condition only, but it is suitable as a reading, working or reference copy.
