Original green cloth spine, printed boards, with colour illustration to the front board. Rubbing to the edges of the binding, front inner hine split (and repaired), preliminary pages foxed, gift inscription (dated 1914). Overall, this copy is in good condition. The 12 colour plates are by various artists; there are two by Anne Anderson, one by A E Jackson, two by M Clayton, four by Beryl Reid, two by Inez Topham, and one where I have not been able to decipher the signature of the artist. Undated, but COPAC gives a publication date of 1913.
