Description: Paris: UNESCO, 1954. First edition (hardback). A portfolio (measuring 42cm by 30cm), containing about 100 folding sheets (each sheet folds out into 6 pages), plus a title sheet and a 16-page introductory booklet, all housed in a blue cloth folder. The folder itself is in worn condition (rubbed and scuffed with loss to one flap); the contents are generally in very good condition, but please note that this copy was formerly in a reference library, and there is a discreet blindstamp to one corner of each sheet. The text on the folding sheets is in both English and French; the booklet is in English only. Each sheet includes technical drawings. This portfolio was prepared for Unesco by H Struers Chemiske Laboratorium of Copenhagen.
