Description: Southampton: Ordnance Survey, 1934. First printed in 1925, this is a reprint from 1934 (print code 3000/34). Mounted in sections on cloth and folded in the original front cover, with an illustration by Ellis Martin. This copy was formerly in a public library: the rear cover has been removed, and the map has been glued into a stout green cloth folder, with gilt titling to the spine. Nonetheless, the map is in very good condition. Also covers Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Congleton, Middlewich, Knutsford, Winsford and Tarporley, and the town of Crewe appears in the bottom margin.
