Rebound in green cloth, gilt titling to the spine, with the original card wrappers bound in. Endpapers foxed, some light scuffing to the lower margin of some of the text pages. Overall, this copy is in good to very good condition. An important reference work. Curiously, the auction did not take place, owing to the prevailing economic climate, and the Ellis collection was later sold en masse to Lt Col Claude Beddington.
