Title: Along the River During the Qingming Festival
Description: 0. Replica of the famous scroll of the painting that is considered to be the most renowned work among all Chinese paintings. Original was painted in the 12th century during the Song Dynasty. Scroll housed in a cardboard box (1 corner torn) within a silk covered luxury wooden box. Black & white facsimile printed on paper with illustrated silk paper on the outside of the scroll (19 cm). The facsimile of the painting is 25.5 centimeters (10.0 inches) in height and 5.25 meters (5.74 yards) long followed by another 6.60 meters of printed chinese calligraphy. Total length of the scroll is almost 12 meters. Not dated (ca. 1960's). In very good/near fine condition. Very Good.
