Description: Manchester, G. Bradshaw. 1830. Hardcover , 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Large folding map, hand coloured and dissected on linen in 48 sections, approximately 1320 x 1230mm ( 52 x 48 inches ), marbled endpapers, edged in green silk. In bright condition with good colour, slightly browned to the reverse, housed in the original calf slipcase, gilt ruled, with a new leather label, rubbed and a little worn in places. The Midlands section is one of three separately published, the others being Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire And Cheshire [ North ] and The Southern Counties, all are scarce. Very Good.
