The book has been touted as one fly fishing’s greatest promotional pieces of its time; an early example as to why the Orvis brand remains so prominent today. The book is bound in its original green decorated cloth with gilt and black titles on the spine and front cover and blind-stamped rules on the back cover. Floral patterned end papers. A nice clean, bright book. There’s light edge wear to the cloth, a brief typed bookseller’s description tipped-in on the front paste down. A very good book.
