One of 55 copies published. With a artificial fly, the Grey Fox Variant, dressed by Art Flick on a size 14 hook. The fly is mounted within an oval recess on the side of the slip case which is covered with thick clear plastic. Includes A Note from the Editor (Russell Chatham). And an Appreciation by Nick Lyons. A good number of color and black and white photos. Included with the book is the original typed manuscript (200 pp. with photos) written by Roger Keckeissen plus a two-page holograph letter penned by Mr. Keckeissen passionately discussing his desire to see the book published. Roger Kecksissen titled his ms. "Catskill Innkeeper. Art Flick and the Westkill Tavern Club." Also included with this material is a copy of the trade edition. Mr. Kecksissen has written a marvelous book about the life and the times of Art Flick within these chapters: American Dreams - Catskill Mountain Boy - Years of Exile - Return to West Kill - Catskill Flytier - Good Company - The Man Who Made Art Flick - A Sportsman for All Seasons - The Reluctant Author - The Westkill Tavern Club - The End of an Era - The Sage of the Schoharie. The book concludes with Russell Chatham’s heartfelt essay "Roger and Ernie’s Last Fish." (Roger Kecksissen and Ernie Schwiebert died in 2005.) The limited edition was Russell Chatham’s personal copy, retrieved from his home in Point Reyes Station after his death in 2019, by his close friend of many years, Art Dollosso. The book is bound in full brown morocco spine with gilt titles and green morocco over boards with gilt title and decoration. Beige cloth slip case partitioned to hold the book on one side and the fly display on the other. This was the Clark City Presses last published book. The deluxe edition, ms. letter, and trade edition all in fine condition. Elegant. Beautiful. Fine.
