Title: The Soft-Hackled Fly. {Signed by the Author with Two of His Flies}.
Description: Bozeman, Montana. Privately published by the author. First Edition Thus. 1988 [1975]. Octavo (9 x 6). 130 pp. including bibliography. Signed by Sylvester Nemes on the half-title page along with two flies dressed by Syl mounted above his inscription. The flies are his "Midge" and "Mother’s Day" caddis patterns. Two color plates showing Mr. Nemes' flies and how they appear to trout underwater. Black and white photos, with step-by-step dressing instructional photos. Sylvester Nemes’ work borrows from old English traditions of fishing soft-hackled flies, and he successfully applies these methods to American waters. The book is bound in gray tweed cloth with gilt titles. Pictorial dust jacket. Some obtuse dolt thought for historical posterity he should underline a few sentences within the text - 2 pages with light underlining and a couple of check marks. Otherwise fine in a very good dust jacket. Signed by Author.
