Description: Livingston, Montana. Clark City Press. 1990. Oblong Quarto (9 1/2 x 10 1/2). 135 pp. plus colophon. Inscribed, signed and dated by Russell on the half-title page. Laid-in is a print that closely approximates the image "Summer Pine" which appears on the front cover of the book. The print is signed in pencil by Russell using his Papermill Creek / Tomales Bay monogram, and it was signed by him in 2019 in Belmont, where he spent his last days. The book includes essays by Jim Harrison, Chris Waddington, and Russell Chatham. With color reproductions of 100 paintings by Chatham, which trace his thirty-year career as a landscape painter from his California period through his Montana period. The book is bound in pictorial wrappers with black titles on the spine and front cover. The print was done on mould paper and the image measures 3 x 3 inches with the overall paper measurements of 10 x 9 inches. The book is in near fine condition as is the print. Signed by Author.
