Handwritten, This is a delightful small Victorian Album given to a Mary Cornish Christmas 1888, in which her friends contribute passages of verse and proverbs through the following year of 1889. The album measures approx.4"x6", titled and decorated in gilt to the upper cover, internally runs to 32 pages, each with a lovely printed illustration, 26 of the pages have been used, most of the entries are signed by the contributor, and most are dated. Very nice condition with only some light marks to the cover, and internally some straining to the gatherings in a few places. Very Good.
