The album captures family and work life in various embassy's and locations. There are over 100 original photos, along with countless news clippings and invitations to outings and parties. Mr. Russo was in attendance at the Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact (Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact) in Moscow.1939 (the unofficial start of WW2). and there are several original photographs of participants. An iconic smiling Stalin photograph taken after the signing is a highlight The other known copy of this photo came from the German Chancellor Von Ribbentrop's personal photo album. In Jan.1937 Augusto Russo married Mrs. Francis W. Bunker, a prominent Washington DC socialite, at the Italian Embassy in Paris. Lots' of clippings, invitations, notices, and snaps. Very Good.
