Spine with five raised bands and red and green morocco gilt lettering labels, marbled endpapers. Printed on handmade watermark rag paper. Top of spine and joints a little rubbed otherwise excellent. An elegantly printed modern edition of Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come; Delivered under the Similitude of a Dream, originally published in February, 1678. A celebrated allegorical tale of Christian the pilgrim on his journey to the Celestial City, the Christian encounters both worthy companions and dreadful adversaries. .
