[4], 327, [1 blank] pp. Title-page printed in red and black. Bound by Bayntun in early twentieth-century three-quarter dark blue polished calf ruled in gilt over blue cloth boards. Spine with five raised bands and red and green morocco gilt lettering labels, marbled endpapers. Printed on handmade watermark rag paper. Top of spine a little rubbed otherwise near fine. An elegantly printed version of Bunyan's celebrated allegorical tale of Christian the pilgrim on his journey to the Celestial City. Along the way, Christian encounters both worthy companions and dreadful adversaries.
