The book opens with a Title page followed by a Profile of the author, describing him as an alpinist, scientist and writer, traveling from research lab to mountain to lab again. A Preface by Toshio Fujishima 藤島敏男 follows, with continued preliminary text and then a Table of Contents on 11-18pp. Topics include: Photography Equipment 写oe器, Styles of Mountaineering and Camera Selection 登山の形式とカメラの選択, Types and Characteristics of Cameras カメラの種類と特徴, Lens Focus レンズの焦点, Lens Brightness レンズの明るさ, Depth of Focus 焦点深度, Filters フィルター, and others.
