A couple of pages are heavily underlined in the preliminary life of Sallust; and there are occasional small ink notes/corrections in margins of main text. The brief account of Sallust's life is in German; but Sallust's accounts of L. Sergius Catilina's conspiracy in 63 BC and of the Jugurthine War, about Rome's war against King Jugurtha of Numidia from 112 to 105 BC, are in Latin. Very good. .
