Some foxing and soil. Slight worming to corner margin of pp. 180-215. Overall, a solid and appealing copy of a scarce title. An amazing variety of dreadful female conditions were thought to be due to hysteria, and treated with elaborate recipes. (Wellcome III, p. 428). .
