Binding shows general, light soiling all over, but is sound Clean within and about near-fine overall. This is a "modern" history of the Fleetwood Hesketh family, beginning at 1872 and continuing until 1952, the time of this publication. In his preface, the author state his two-fold purpose in writing the book: because many of the more interesting details of the family's recent history had yet to be chronicled, and to clear up some confusion surrounding the line of succession, which had recently passed through the female line. .
