Overall, a very good set. Some plates show light soiling at and along the edges as wells as a few nicks. The wrappers, (all are present) are either separated or quite worn at the folds and the contents are extracted from each one. All plates and text pages are loose. Internally, there is only occasional foxing and/or a touch of soil but overall it is a clean, bright, and pleasing example of this magnificent Victorian color plate book in an unusual format. A copy of the prospectus (folio size) is included. .
