Text is nicely printed on quality paper, and clean. Beddoes (1760-1808), an English physician and philanthropist, was particularly interested in diseases of inhalation. According to the DNB, the distinguishing merit of his medical writings is their vivid presentation of the phenomena of disease. (Evans 31782). .
