Ex-library; bookplate to front pastedown and no other marks. Ink ownership: "Charles Francis Adams. August. 1839." on first balnk of volume 1. Volume 1 shows some puckering to spine. Clean and neat within. But for the indifferent re-casing, a scarce, very good set. .
