A three (3) volume set in quarter brown calf with black pebbled cloth. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Bifold map in volume one, plates in volume three. Vlumes one and two set up in two column pages, volume three in single columns facing prints. Tooled spine with five raised bands (six compartments), titles on second and fourth. All three volumes are complete and intact. Front leather hinge of volume one is cracked and has been repaired by a professional bindery. Leather shows some scuffs to finish that have likewise been restored professionally. This is a fantastic set of a rare, complete work in original binding, from the mid-nineteenth century. Photos available upon request, from serious buyers. Extra carriage will be necessary because of the size of the set.. Very Good+ with No dust jacket as issued.
