On one page there is a colour illustration with a small rhyme, and the opposite page has a story explaining the rhyme with some more rhyming words in it. There is a border with the same black & white drawings around each page. The five stories are: Johhny Dumblecluck, Ching a Ling, Father Brown, Misty Morn, Jonathan Bell. (Self-published. No date, but 1940s. Unnumbered pages, including covers. The dedication reads: To Dear John with love from granpa & granma June 1956.).
