Spiral bound blue boards titled in gilt, with a red plastic spiral along the spine. The covers are rubbed with slight wear to the corners and edges and small white stains to the front cover. The plastic spiral is cracked with pieces out from the top and bottom. 320 pages, with profuse textual and full-page illustrations, including blueprints. There is scattered foxing and soiling, especially to the endpapers, title page and last leaf. There are a couple of tears and chips to the top edge of the front endpaper and the corners of several pages are creased. There is minor chipping and creasing to the front edge of a few pages. Good.

First edition of volume 2. The first volume, not here present, was published in 1936. Good .
