Good. - sc An 8-3/8 inch high by 5-7/8 inch wide broadside with the seven stanzas of the song printed in 2 columns beneath a banner title. An elaborate formal decorated frame surrounds the text. A wonderful witty 19th century song about pregnancy and childbirth, the first stanza reads: "Teddy Regan courted Winnie, / He loved her as he loved his life; / Her father gave her fifty guineas, / The night that she became his wife. / Now and then they saved a guinea; / Things went on extremely well / Until the slender waist of Winnie / In the course of time began to swell..."

Though RLIN locates an edition published by Jamews Wrigley, we were unable to locate another copy of this edition which attributes the authorship to "White Ghost". A RARE American song sheet. Good .
