Good. - sc Small quarto [7-1/4 inches high by 5-1/4 inches wide], unbound. Two sheets of cream stock, 7-1/4 inches high by 10-1/2 inches wide, are folded once to form 8 sides. The inner sheet has been misfolded along the spine. The edges of the sides are darkened, especially the edges of the 3rd side & there is some chipping & soiling. Good.

NB: It is not quite clear how the two sheets should be folded. The contents include a listing of patrons of the event, ticket prices, a two page history of the Vienna opera and a two-page list of the operas to be performed with the names of the leading singers. The operas include Fidelio, Don Juan, Les Noces de Figaro, La Tosca, La Servante Maitresse, L'Enlevement au Serail, Tristan & Iseult, Le Chevalier a la Rose and La Valkyrie. The text is in French.

The Austrian conductor Franz Schalk [1863-1931], who was the director of the Vienna State Opera, is best known for his revisions of Bruckner's symphonies. Good .
