The spine & extremities are darkened & the leather of the spine is dried out & cracking. There are 3 tiny holes in the front joint. xxviii & pages[29]-227; and xxviii & pages [29]-364. The edges of the pastedowns, endpapers, flyleaf & rear blank are darkened with an owner's ink name & date on the front endpaper. There is staining & foxing to the fore-edge, prelims & the last few leaves of the 2nd index, with occasional foxing & staining in the text. There are some light stains to the top edge. Good.

The first American edition of each work, both originally published in London in 1849.

This is the "January, February, and March, 1850" volume of "The Law Library" series. Good .
