Very good. - 12mo, 4-3/4 inches high by 3 inches wide. Softcover, bound in printed self-wraps with a vignette on the front cover. [3] pages, including an alphabet, and pages 6 through 18. Illustrated with 4 full-page illustrations and a tail-piece vignette. Three of the illustrations are partially hand-colored by a previous owner, with more or less success. Dampstained throughout, the corners are slightly creased and the tail of the spine is split. There is a previous owner's inscription penned at the top of the title page.

Through her negligence, Giddy Gertrude's canary, once the apple of her eye, but now unable to compete with all the other distractions and novelties in her life, sings desperately to no avail, until he sadly dies. Very good .
