The spine & extremities are darkened. There is some light staining to the wraps & the edges are chipped with small pieces out. The bottom 2 inches of the rear wrap are detached. Title, [1] leaf & 57 pages. Illustrated with a black-and-white portrait frontispiece. The front edge of the verso of the frontispiece is lightly stained & there is a small, light stain to the rear blank, else the contents are very good.

The contents include addresses and tributes and a poem by Sullivan's son, George Hammond Sullivan.

Laid in are two four-page greeting cards from George Hammond Sullivan, one for Christmas 1949, which includes a message and poem, and the other for Thanksgiving Day 1950 with a prose message. Very good .
