Description: Oxford, 1927, First Edition Thus. Cloth. Hardback, 108mm x 173mm tall (4" x 6.75" approx.). Pp xx, 60, with decorated capitals and eight illustrations, four of which are full-page. This uncommon reprint, taken from Digges' Longimetra, the first book of Pantometria, was produced as volume four in the Old Ashmolean Reprints Series. Fine, in a later binding of green cloth-covered boards/gilt spine title, with the Binder's label to the rear paste-down: "Hand Bound by Collis, Bird And Withey, London", and the pictorial Ex-Libris of one D S G to the front free endpaper. Fine.
