Hardback, 150mm x 195mm tall (6" x &.75" approx.). 112pp with engraved title vignette, illustrated capitals and chapter head & tail-pieces and two full-page illustrations, PLUS 16 single-sided full-colour plates. Good in the original binding of black-ruled, cloth-covered boards/gilt title/laid-down colour plate, re-cased with new endpapers and with the original spine-cloth [a little rubbed but professionally laid-down.] Excellent illustrations, including one of a tiger attempting to reach the occupants of an elephant's howdah. Good.
